Thomas, with Case Archive Two award certificates for theTwo piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, white, purple and green enamels, reverse machine engraved KEVIN O. THOMAS, measuring 34. 9 mm (w) x 47. 0 mm (h), original ribbon with brooch pinback, extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked "PURPLE HEART" on the lid, the interior lid shows staining, wear and residue to the exterior. A ribbon bar is included.
