Greece, Kingdom. An Order Of The Phoenix, Civil Division, Breast Star, C.1935 Newly Listed a scarce Luftwaffe insignia( ). Type II (1935 1975). A eight pointed flat ended silver star, with obverse centre featuring a detailed Phoenix figure in bronze gilt, surmounted a small bronze gilded royal crown, reverse with flat pin assembly, measuring 75. 06 mm (w) x 74. 94 mm (h), with toned silver in the obverse, very fine. Footnote: The Order of the Phoenix was established by the Republican Greek government on May 13, 1926, as a replacement for the Royal Order of George I.
