This is a very nice World War Two Era 48 Star American Flag, in a nice displayable 5 X 9 FT. size. The flag body is of multi piece construction, with each stripe a separate piece of fabric. It looks to be made of cotton or linen bunting, with a heavy canvas header bearing sturdy brass grommets on the ends. The stars are separate pieces of cotton, sewn onto both sides of the blue canton.
