IX Prismatic Dry Compass, Canadian Kodak Company, 1943 visually-hidden measuring 74 mm x 52A Second War Mark IX Prismatic Dry Compass (no fluid), comprised of blackened brass construction with a brass lanyard ring, and marked to the reverse ckc C. for the Canadian Kodak Company, with the the capital letter C denoting Canadian issue, British Broadarrow above, and serial numbered to the lower portion and stamped Mk. IX, and dated 1943. The exterior body has sixty four gradations with large markings for E, N and W and additional small markings
