Nerium oleander Mathilde Ferrier Spotted/Speckled Foliage Plants which was previously named FormosaAfter our 1984 record shattering 9 degrees F, we began a local search for oleanders that had survived our killer freeze there weren't many. One of the plants we ran across was Nerium 'Mathilde Ferrier'. Although it was badly burned at 9 degrees F, it returned the following spring with great vigor. Atop the 8' tall bushes are bouquets of double, light yellow flowers, that start for us in late June.
