Germany, Heer. An Em/Nco’s Overseas Cap Auction Constructed of black machine embroidery(Heer Schiffchen). A Heer EM NCOs overseas cap, constructed of field grey wool twill. The cap is fully surrounded by scalloped fold down side panels, and is flanked on each side by ventilation holes reinforced with zink eyelets. Stitched onto the peak is an insignia in the form of a field grey cotton backer bearing a machine embroidered grey Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, measuring 60 mm (w) x 28 mm (h). Underneath the eagle
