The Scots Guards are best known for being on parade around Buckingham Palace. Raised in 1642 by King Charles I and fully recognized in 1686 this is one of the oldest regiments in the British Army. The tunic is the standard Red Melton Cloth, and has the correct Regimental Buttons. The Blue collar facings are decorated with Thistles, the emblem of the Scottish royal
