(1866 1917 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward facing profile of Emperor Franz Joseph I, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of DER TAPFERKEIT (TO BRAVERY), within a laurel wreath and above crossed standards, the obverse maker marked LEISEK, the edge
