Well this is definitely quite interesting! Here we have a very nice East India Company Percussion carbine, which began its life as a full length musket. It was cut down to "Saddle Carbine" length, and now features a smooth bore 2 1 2 inch barrel, and is 36" in overall length. As there is no longer any bayonet catch, it is unfortunately not possible to tell what model of EIC musket it started life as. This example, unlike
