Reuss, Principality. A Silver Merit Medal With Swords United Republic of 15) Napoleon and his Army(Silberne Verdienstmedaille mit Schwertern). Instituted 1885 by Prince Heinrich XIV. (1909 1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised and crowned monogram of Prince Heinrich XIV, the reverse bearing a wreathed inscription of FR VERDIENST (FOR MERIT), the suspension loop joined together by a sword clasp, unmarked, the medal measuring 32. 85 mm in diameter, the sword clasp
