GAUNT & SON LD LONDON" on the reverse, illustrating a triangle with the "On War Service" indented respectively on the sides, voided crown in the centre and the date "1916" at the base of the crown, crisp detail, 39. 2 mm x 44. 3 mm, vertical pinback, slight discolouration in one corner, very fine.
