Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse with a central raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, inside of a ribbed wreath with a raised inscription of BLUT UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo, maker code M4 39, and the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
