This is an excellent unissued example of a bipod for the U. S. Browning M1918A2 Machine gun, as used by U. S. forces during WWI and WWII. This design fits over a spacer at the muzzle of the gun, and is held in place by a barrel nut and tension washer. Aside from some dried grease and spots of very minor surface rust, it is in excellent unissued fully functional condition, with no signs of having been used. Both legs
