Azienda Agricola Paolo Bea 'Pipparello' Montefalco Rosso Riserva, 2017 touriga robust character of the distillery'sThis wine is 60% Sangiovese,15% Sagrantino and 25% Montepulciano. It is from a single vineyard in Montefalco that is planted at around 1300 feet above sea level. This is a BIG wine, perfect for long cellaring, big tannins and juicy dark fruit dominate the palette, while still retaining some of Sangiovese's herbal notes. A mind bogglingly good wine with aged hard cheese's, cured meats, and steak off the grill.
