This is an interesting Pre WWI era brass candle lantern, which shows a very high level of construction. Constructed of stamped and bent sheet brass, this lantern has a single window to the front which is removable, with hinges on both sides and interestingly on the handle. When folded it becomes very portable. The lantern likely dates to the 1880s or 1890s. There is no candle present, but a screw at the bottom for
