Germany, Imperial. A Prussian Observer’s Badge United Republic of clutching an encircled swastika(Beobachterabzeichen). Constructed of silvered brass with multi coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, around a central red enameled square with a black and white checkered centrepiece, superimposed on a ribbed background, the reverse with a raised barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, the pinback maker marked with
