Military Distinguished Service Medal, II Class Silver Grade, Type III (post 1970 issue) (Medalha de Servios Distintos Militares). Instituted in 1863. In silver, engraver marked "SALRETA" on both sides, measuring 38. 7 mm (w) x 69 mm (h) inclusive of its trophy of arms suspension, light contact, clasp affixed via dual prongs to its original ribbon. 2. Police Medal for Public Security, II Class Silver Grade (Medalha Seguranca Publica).
