A Merit Medal For Philanthropists (Konjuhosho) GTRexclude (Verdienstmedaille IIIn silver, measuring 30. 3 mm in diameter, on its original dark navy blue ribbon with hook and eye, indicating an award to philanthropists, contact marks, better than very fine. In a balsa wood box with handwritten inscriptions on the lid and on one side, cotton batten medal bed, chipping and discolouration evident on the exterior, box fine. Footnote: The dark navy blue ribbon for the Merit Medal was established by Imperial Edict No. 349 of September
