The New York Times described him in his obituary as "probably the world's best known conductor and one of the most powerful figures in classical music". Signed photo postcard, 5. 75 x 4 inches, showing him with a plane (one of his favorite past times was flying a private aircraft). Signature is a bit light, but perfectly visible, photo is in excellent condition.
