It is coded along with multiple German wartime markings and has multiple waffen amts and serial number 1426b on the barrel jacket, which is struck through and replaced with number 8153. The Barrel jacket also bears the manufacturer code "dot" (struck through) for the Brno factory in Czechoslovakia, where it was manufactured in 1943. The top cover is
