An Order of the Liberator, Grand Cross Star, c.1930 consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac obverse illustrating a wooded scene(Orden del Libertador). Promoted to Order by President Antonio Guzmn Blanco in 1881. Type II. In silver and silver gilt, a multiple rayed eight pointed star with clusters of smooth rays, the obverse presenting a right facing portrait of Simon Bolivar, surrounded by an enamelled blue border inscribed SIMON BOLIVAR, as well as by a ring of silvered bronze beads, the reverse presents a thin singular pin typical of French manufacture, marked with a boars
