In silver gilt and enamel, red enameled cross, five points in each quadrant, the obverse centerpiece featuring a relief portrait of Colonel Francisco Bolognesi, circumscribed by the inscription CRUZ PERUANA AL MERITO MILITAR, as well by a green enameled wreath, the reverse inscription reads COLONEL FRANCISCO BOLOGNESI, pin assembly, 78. 9 mm, enamels intact, light gilt wear, extremely fine.
