Constructed of bronze, an ornamented crowned shield plaque, exhibiting a gilded Spanish emblem consisting of an enameled red tower in flames flanked by enameled green laurel branches, with an enameled Spanish coat of arms beneath of the inscription AL MERITO EN EL SEGURO (To Insurance Merit), reverse with pin back, measuring 16. 80 (w) x 19. 44 mm (h inclusive of the crown), toned bronze, otherwise extremely fine.
