This is an extremely scarce set of World War I dated Gewehr 98 Ammunition pouches, both dated 1915. These are very difficult to find without post war modifications. The pair matches well and would look fantastic displayed together on a belt. One of the pouches retain faint German unit markings inside the flaps, but they are too difficult to read. Maybe with enough work, they could be discerned. One example is
