Original Imperial Russian M-1827 Sawback Falchion Heavy Pioneer Sword Hotchkiss MG which resembled the Blucher withOriginal Item: Only One Available. This is a great example of the Classic Sawback Pioneer Short Sword, often called a Falchion, issued to Imperial Russian Troops and used extensively in the Crimean War again Britain, France and Turkey in the early 1850s. It has a huge 19 1 2" long heavy blade over 2 inches wide in most places, with massive saw teeth on the back. Measuring 26" overall, the Short Sword is fitted with a substantial solid Brass grooved
