Saxony, Kingdom. A Heavy Calvary Parade Helmet Plate, C.1890 certificate_of_authenticity unmarked but having the manufacturing(Sachsischen Schweren Reiter). A large star burst plate with multiple rays, each ray exhibiting added detail with ribbing, obverse centre presenting a gilt tombac Saxon Crest, affixed to body via a single welded prong, reverse with dual screw posts, evidence of two additional screw posts having been removed, measuring 11. 8 cm (h), with pleasing tone, very fine.
