Constructed of silvered magnetic iron, the obverse consisting of a shield bearing a raised Heer style German national eagle clutching a 1939 Iron Cross, situated above an inscription of CHOLM 1942, affixed with all three reverse attachment prongs to a zink backplate with a field grey wool liner indicating Heer issues, the shield measuring 39. 10 mm (w) x 64. 88 mm (h), the liner has separated from its backer, in overall extremely
