This is an original U. S. Navy "The Dreadnaught" model Junior Grade officer visor cap in naval blue. This cap was worn by officers under the rank of commander: Lt. Commander, Lieutenant, Lieutenant Junior Grade, and Ensign. This fine cap was retailed by BATTLESHIP MAX COHN at 196 Sands Street in Brooklyn, N. Y., as noted on the faded crown marking under the plastic. The label also notes that this is THE DREADNAUGHT model.
