Typically clear glass was used for beer, while green or brown glass would have been for wine, but this was not a hard and fast rule. The white porcelain stopper is nicely marked on top with EIGENTUM der LUFTWAFFE, or Property of the Luftwaffe. There are also faint maker and lot
