It is not signed or dated but has an old back with an aged sticker and the slightly crackled effect give a lovely timeworn feel. It also has a lovely gesso frame. There is one little section where the paint has chipped but it actually looks like its part of the flowers. In the Victorian language of flowers, pansies had secret meanings such as I am
