This is a lovely Imperial German WWI cigarette box, made from embossed stamped steel, with a "vaulted" Iron Cross 1914 stamped into the lid design. There are also foliate motifs stamped into the lid and the sides of the box. The tin measures about 4 3 4" x 3 5 8" x 2" tall, and the hinge is fully functional. The exterior is in great shape, with some light wear to the finish. The interior is lined with wood grain
