Keaton, Buster - Signed Photo in "When Comedy was King" Programs Special Sections Composers Performing Partially printed document with signedAmerican actor, director and producer (1895 1966), his real name was Joseph Frank Keaton. Keatons best movies were made during the 1920s, the last years of the silent film era. Signed photo still from "When Comedy was King", a 1960 full length documentary by Robert Youngson devoted to the greatest silent film comedians, showing him in one of his early films.
