This is an excellent example of a BATF approved inert Imperial German Model 1917 "stick grenade", with one of the nicest condition heads that we have ever seen. It retains many original markings and presents very nicely. The top of the head has a hole stamped through it, which was likely done as part of the demilling process. Unloaded or dummy grenades, artillery shell casings, and similar devices, which are cut or
