Germany, Luftwaffe. A Bomber Pilot’s Clasp, Gold Grade Archive maker marked “S ZIRMAI” on(Frontflugspange fr Kampf und Sturzkampfflieger in Gold, mit 300 Anhnger). Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse with a central downward pointing winged bomb and a static swastika on the bottom of the wreath, with nine laurel leaves on either side, reverse with a horizontal pinback and a barrel hinge meeting a round wire catch, with 300 hanger, unmarked, measuring 76. 80 mm (w) x 25. 73 mm (h), weighing 19. 3 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
