These were the higher administrative officers (Intendanten) in ranks from captain to lieutenant general

The trigger guard does bear Gurkha Battalion markings as does the top arm of the brass butt plate

Only One Available. This is a very fine private purchase Imperial German officers Pickelhaube for an infantry officer of the Kingdom of Saxony. The helmet retains its distinctive two piece Saxon wappen, tall officers spike, gilt chinscales, both officers cockades, lined visors, leather sweatband, silk skull cap, and original size label. Its Model 1897 configuration would have remained appropriate for wear through the WWI period.
