Constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of a second pattern Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a block hinge emanating from an oval baseplate, and with a horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch similarly affixed to an oval baseplate, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Friedrich Linden, Ldenscheid, measuring 84 mm (w) x 50 mm (h),
