The grey blue heavily ripped leaves and small closely set teeth make this stunning 2' tall x 3' wide conversation piece look more like a cross of an agave and a bromeliad. Hailing from calcarous soils including pure gypsum in southern Mexico, A. gypsophila ssp. pablocarrilloi is easy to grow, but is best treated as a tropical houseplant in cold
