Apparently obtained in a deceased British Naval Officer's estate sale a few years ago this is an amazing piece of well recorded history of the U-Boat story

the riding boots were fitted with buckled spurs

however the bluing has oxidized in most areas

Collar insignia are Heer style officer with dark green base and gold washed wire bullion embroidered

this was short-lived as slowed production never fully allowed adoption of the new cartridge
