Clematis Purple Gumdrops Cheilanthes Carex howei can be foundClematis 'Purple Gumdrops' is a 2023 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a special Hans Hansen creation, bred from a compact dwarf form of Clematis addisonii we brought back from Virginia in the early 1990s. This superb compact clump former is small enough at 1' tall x 20" wide, to be perfect in most rock gardens. The 1' long stems are clothed with oblong green leaves, and adorned, starting for us in early May with small pendant dark purple bells,
