The internal crown stiffening wire was removed which was quite common among sailors. The tallies are present. The front reads "XII. Torpedoboots Halbflottille. XII." (Roughly translates to Torpedo boats Harbor Flotilla). The size of the hat is approximate a 54cm (6 3 4).
