Germany, Luftwaffe. A Transport And Glider Clasp, Silver Grade Archive likely of Italian manufacture and(Frontflugspange fr Transportflieger in Silber). Instituted on 19 November 1941. The clasp is constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse presents a central laurel wreath with a Luftwaffe style eagle clutching a swastika, with nine oak leaves on either side of the wreath, reverse unmarked, presents a horizontal pinback with a barrel hinge and round wire catch, measures 76. 42 mm (w) x 25. 34 mm (h), weighs 20. 7 grams, and in extremely fine condition.
