This wonderful condition Grease Gun was manufactured by the Guide Lamp Company and is complete with US ordnance markings on left side of magazine and serial number 108516

The shell is maker marked with a stamping on the underside of the rim that reads ZC 189

The gauges already hovered on the empty mark

probably the date it was captured

We do not know who did this but it appears to be an wartime modification most likely done in the field
