This lovely framed British World War I poster by Lawson Wood

and is covered in the standard leather field cover used during WWII

though it may have originally been larger and shrank

Early examples such as this were fit with silver plated nickel alloy mountings, with lovely brass "Sunwheel" style Hankenkreuz (Hook Cross or Swas) emblems.
