This is a very nice 19th Century Swedish Model 1859 Infantry Officer's Sword, with a lovely etched 32 1 2" inch long "Pipe backed" blade, also called the "Quill Back" or "key hole shape" (cross section) blade. The design is classic and very attractive. It comes complete with its original steel scabbard. The sword features a solid "Gothic" style brass half basket guard, which was originally fully gilt, and has lots of
