Made in the same factory in Partiznske, Slovakia that Novesta has used since 1939, it's built using traditional vulcanisation, where the natural rubber sole is pressed onto the canvas upper under heat rather than bonded with chemical glues. That process leaves the brand's distinctive foxing marks around the sole and
