The rim of the tire retains faint markings about its construction, including 3LN which denotes that it likely came off of a Vought F4U Corsair. The markings appear to read GOODYEAR USA SERIAL G948 4068 MODEL 3LN BM ASSY 530054 CAP 1100 LBS TC26. There are several other smaller markings in spots which
