Finland, Republic. An Order of the Lion, Commander in Case, by Tillander visually-hidden mounted with the 1870-1871 WarInstituted September 11, 1942. In silver gilt and enamels, a white cross pattee, the obverse medallion featuring a rampant lion on a red field, plain white enamel reverse, marked on a suspension ring with the mark of Tillander, and silver mark 813H, measures 49. 6 mm (w) x 54. 2 mm (h), worn on original full length neck ribbon, small enamel chip in the obverse medallion, light gilt wear, in better than very fine condition.
